to upgrade 7.6.1 or not?

Hello All,

I had read about many problems of server 7.7, and decided to stay with 7.6.

Now I need to rebuild my Ubuntu 10.4 LTS server from scratch, and will move to 12.04 LTS.

Should I install Logitech Media Server?
Is the last Squeezebox Server still downloadable?
I don't care for the new features, but i want my software to be up to date.
I basically listen to radio stations, and some locally archived music.
